Open Team & Users
Choose the intended organization, then open Team & Users. Owners and admins can access team management. Individual controls may also depend on your permissions.
Invite a colleague
- Select the invitation action.
- Enter the colleague’s email and any requested name fields.
- Choose the intended staff role.
- Submit and read the invitation result.
- Copy the invitation link if you need to share it directly.
The result distinguishes a delivered email, an in-app notification for an existing account, and a created invitation whose email could not be delivered. A generated link can still be shared when email delivery fails. Invitation links expire; request a new one if needed.
Borrowers are invited through their borrower records. Do not invite an applicant as a staff member.
Understand roles
| Role | General purpose |
|---|---|
| Owner | Organization ownership and billing |
| Admin | Team and organization administration |
| Processor | Loan processing and review work |
| Broker | Loan origination |
| Loan Officer | Loan origination with the configured action restrictions |
| Support | Limited support access, where available |
Roles provide a starting point. The actual actions available depend on the configured permissions and the particular file. A role label alone does not guarantee every action or sensitive field is available.
Change roles and permissions
Open the member’s More options menu and choose a role under Set role. Check the selected member and organization before submitting. Your own row, protected roles, and pending invitations may not offer the same controls. A pending invitation’s role is fixed; use the available cancellation and invitation flow if it needs to change.
The same menu provides Deactivate or Reactivate for eligible existing members and Resend invite or Cancel invite for pending invitations. Read the result before assuming the invitation email was delivered.
Detailed action permissions are configured in the restricted platform administration area. Ask your platform support contact when a permission change is needed beyond the organization role controls.
If a colleague still cannot open a file, check loan-specific access as well.
Remove a member
Use the member’s removal action when permitted and follow the confirmation. Check any ownership constraints and responsibilities before removing access. Review the team list afterward to confirm the change.
