Notes & history

Keep internal context with the loan and follow recorded changes to the file.

Add a note

  1. Open the loan from Loans.
  2. Select Notes.
  3. Enter the context your team needs in Add a note….
  4. Submit the note and confirm it appears in the list.

Keep notes specific: what happened, what remains to be done, and who needs to act. If a document or condition is involved, identify it clearly.

Review history

Open History to follow recorded changes. Use the timestamps and event details to understand the sequence of activity on the file. History is useful when checking a workflow status update or preparing for a team handoff.

Notes and borrower communication

Treat staff notes as internal file context. Use your team’s established communication process when a borrower needs to take action; adding a note does not itself send a message to them.

For email already connected to the file, open Emails or the Email Inbox.

Remove a note

Use the note’s removal action only when available and appropriate. If you cannot edit or remove an entry, ask your administrator to review your access.
